Legal Comment

About 56 citizens lost their freedom this week, between arrest or rotation, in contrast to 19 released,

This is a summary of justice and its status, and a brief about the preparations for this week.

Release decisions are one of the basic guarantees by the judicial system to ensure the rights of individuals in pretrial detention. Since these decisions represent an affirmation of the principle of innocence until proven guilty.

However, what actually happens is the phenomenon of disrupting the implementation of such decisions and re-accusing in new cases, or rotation.

Rotation has become a major challenge that threatens confidence in justice, and raises questions about the extent of respect for human rights, which represents a blatant violation of the principles of natural justice.

As this approach undermines the rule of law and erodes confidence in the judicial system. It is also often used as a tool for political pressure on the accused.
