Legal Comment

In a mysterious and bizarre move, the Supreme State Security Prosecution calls for renowned economist Abdel Khaleq Farouk from his detention in 10th of Ramadan Prison to complete his investigation in Case No. 4937 of 2024 Supreme State Security.

The prosecution showed no interest in his official complaint regarding the deteriorating conditions of his detention inside the prison, nor did it refer him to trial or release him.
