                                                            Al-Shehab Center for Human Rights documented the assault of Mohamed Hussein Zaki, 27, from Toukh, Qalubia, who has been in pretrial detention at Badr Prison-I. He was beaten by two officers from the transfer force while returning from Qasr al-Aini Hospital after undergoing an eye examination due to a severe deterioration in his vision.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

                                                            Al-Shehab Center for Human Rights also published a report concerning the beating of 5 detainees in Menia Rehabilitation Prison-II (the execution zone) with batons inside their cells. They are Khaled Askar, Mahmoud Wahba, Mahmoud Abada, Karim Rostom, and Mohamed Darwish. Security personnel, including Ahmed Sedki, Ahmed El-Kashef, and Ahmed Gamal, are accused of assaulting them. The assaults resulted in injuries suspected to be serious, including fractures of the jaw and ribs and head injuries, amid fears of internal bleeding.
