Legal Comment

Cairo Criminal Court, Terrorism Chamber-I, held in Badr Prison.

The Supreme State Security Prosecution has decided to acquit 38 citizens, in a step in the right direction, however of which the impact and content remain limited compared to the vast number of cases, in which thousands remain detained, many for periods exceeding the legal limit for pretrial detention, without sufficient justification, in a clear violation of the constitution.
