- Zagazig Total Prosecution in Sharqia investigated Mustafa Ahmed Wefqi after arresting him from his home and putting him in 80 days enforced disappearance, and then accused him of joining a terrorist group and spreading false news and statements placing him in pretrial detention.
- Darb Negm Prosecution in Sharqia investigated Mahmoud Mohamed Youssef and Youssef El-Tabei Mahmoud, after appearing following 70 days enforced disappearance on the same charges and then kept them in pretrial detention.

- Public Prosecution announced on its Facebook page that a team had inspected Damanhour-II, and Borg El Arab-I and II, 15th of May-I, II, IV, and VI Prisons, to ensure the cleanliness and suitability of the facilities for the inmates. During the inspections, the team listened to a number of prisoners and, according to the Public Prosecution, received no complaints.
Legal Comment
The continued detention of researchers Ismail al-Iskandarani and Hani Sobhi in connection with supreme state security cases reflects the insistence of the executive authorities, especially the National Security Agency, on using exceptional measures.
